Hello You Got Married!!!

Starting last April, I started an 8 month long expedition to fill in the “Empty Seat” and find a bride for me and attain marital bliss. Carried on with lots of “Hope” and here I am back at the blog reliving those moments and few experiences I have had.

April; initially thought all that was happening was just an April fool joke.
May; Indications were like, this May or May not happen, was just living on “HOPE”.
June; we both were in tune and awaiting bliss.
July; our hopes were sky high and we let ourselves fly.
August; on the very day India got Independence, I attained “In-Dependence” status.
September; nothing much to remember
October; said “you guys need to wait till November”
November; Noooovemberrrrrrrrrrrr was something to reeeememberrrrrr

OK Before I say that I got married this November, the feel of being married did not sink into me so quickly, there were some instances that reminded me and said “Hello You Got Married!!

  • When my Wife takes the lead and updates her profile in one of social networking site that she has got married to me!!! (You have to just accept it and the buzz goes on and on…)
  • When my "Bava" asked me about the significance of June 20th 2012, (this is not the day when world is going to end??). All I could think was only of two dates and for obvious reasons those were, Dec 21st and my marriage date. I had to give up and ask him for more details, he said “That was the last time you posted on the blog Bava”.
  • Our photographer uploads a photo of us on a social networking site and few of my friends who did not know I was getting married put up expression like “Arrey wah aapki to shaadi ho gayi, Congratulations” (I am like….ohh yess me to got married!!! God’s grace!!!)
  • My manager recently, seeing me leaving early asks me “Hey Raghu “UNCLE” leaving early these days?” (Yes Uncle, you very well know it how this works in the married world!!!)
  • There are few colony members who have not given me a “Smile” all these years and they keep seeing me the moment I step out of the house and give those smiles. Are they playing my own trick on me or this is something else?
  •  Recently I was at my friends place and he was planning to go out for a movie and asked me if I would like to come? (with just one more hour left for the movie) I instantly say “Yes” and my friend keeps staring at me!!! I take a moment and then say Okie let me call and then confirm!!!
  • The concept of Uncle & Aunty has gone so much into my system that its likely to take a toll here, as I go ahead and call my in-laws Uncle & Aunty….our relatives around us are very quick to catch up on these kind of blemishes and dish out a nice sarcastic comment on today’s generation, culture etc etc….one of more recent comments I faced “Vedhava neeku pelli ayindi…ala pilavakoodaduuu”…

There are few more like these (few cheeky & few romantic ones) which I have shared with my beloved wife. Just coming close to completing 1 exciting month as a married man and the journey has been fun and exciting.

Teaser: Coming up next is The Night, yes the very night and you guessed it right!!!!!
