This Must Be LOVE

Yes it happened!!! No I am not talking about my Love life here. It is just a feel good factor that all my friends replied to my crazy mail after a really long time. And that feel was a short lived one... as my main aim and agenda was completely lost after the 3rd or 4th mail and then on the subject matter went on to surprise few of them, troubled some, excited few of them. And ONE in particular had a joy ride of sorts.

Husband, Wife & Married life; precisely that was the matter going around in mails, currently the minority in the group "Bachelors" enjoyed it well while the majority "Married" ones were exchanging their experiences so far. The ONE lady who is "on the cusp" of entering the world of marital bliss, was the one who was having the joy ride. Initially it started out as a "KT" for this lady and she was welcomed and inducted into the world of Marriage and she mentally prepared herself by saying "I am prepared for the disaster now ;)". Till then the “Power Puff Girls” from the WIFE club were the ones who were mailing their views. Seeing the one sided nature of information flow, from the HUSBANDS club came, "The 3 Musketeers". No.1 was taken seriously and later sidelined, No.3 was adding salt to injuries on WIFE club members and then came No.2 "Juice Baron" who did silence few of the critics and his mail did tilt the confidence of members from WIFE club. There is also a No.4 "The Fresher" who did not make his presence felt, as he was taking in all the gyan that was being dished out in mails. (According to INSIDER sources, No.4 called No.2 and congratulated him on the points he made and confessed how true they were!!!)

With all this going on, our “The ONE lady” was getting worried now about the whole concept of marriage. Her lines “I don’t know your observations, grudges and source findings….after reading it all, I AM SCARED OF GETTING MARRIED :(”. She even pulled back the whole group with words like “It was a FUN group where we spoke of everything under the earth that was interesting…now it’s only cribbing, allegations and accusations :( that’s how scary marriage is”. Like the good old friends, seeing “The ONE lady” in troubled state, “Power Puff Girls” and "The 3 Musketeers" came along and revived her faith in marriage with words like “Marriage is a beautiful rose with a few thorns but will you focus on the rose or the thorns? That is left to us”, “Chill girl……at the end of the day….it balances out….cribbing etc etc…is a part of married life…after all both partners can’t be practical... :)”, “In a dish called marriage these silly arguments are like spices which keeps your married life interesting”. Like the effect of a cool breeze on a late summer evening, our “The ONE lady” also felt the cooling effect of the words and put up a brave composure.

Initially I was a little worried as to why did I put that mail to all my friends but once I read the whole chain again and again, and the communications between couples, the only thought crossed my mind is “This Must be LOVE”.

    Impressive.You can be a writer, it might be unpleasant not justifying your current profession though. For a sec I imagined myself to be "The One Lady" in your article :)... keep going

Star Event

I (i) was just going through my marriage album and there was one pose that made me stop and think for a while, it is the eternal pose where the boy is pointing towards sky and girl is smilingly looking along with him into the unknown skies. Yes, both of them looking at “Arundhati Nakshatram” (Star). Most of the south Indian marriages I know have this tradition. Trial Room

The moment one says the word “Shopping” women will surely will come into picture, numerous jokes on it etc... etc... I am not going to tell you about the regular stuff that goes around with shopping along with your beloved…..the shopping routines, buying, bargaining and excitement all these are as usual as any other. For me the more funny part of all this shopping is waiting outside the “ Trial Room ”. First and fore most I must thank my “ BEST ” half for taking me through one of a kind shopping experience. With her it is more calculated and planned shopping, yes we do have those mood-off or irritated days while shopping but all in all it’s been exciting.
